Movie Swords for Sale

Have you ever watched a really good movie where the main character was using a sword and you thought “Man I would love to have one of those!” But then it occurs to you to ask where can I find movie swords for sale? Well I’ve done some research and found a few of my favorite movie swords and want to share them with you. If you don’t see the one you like then hunt around on Amazon, maybe you’ll find what your looking for on one of them too!

Movie Swords for Sale-Lord of the Ring

Remember in Return of the King when Aragorn went into the mountain to call the ghost army to battle? That moment when he drew his sword to block an attack and it actually blocked the ghosts blade? I don’t know about you but I was completely freaking out and bouncing in my chair during that scene! That’s when I just knew I HAD to have a replica of that movie sword. Luckily I managed to find one at Amazon. Check it out for yourself!!

Movie Swords for Sale- The Hobbit

Here is another one for you Lord of the Ring fans. A replica of the sword used by Bilbo Baggins in “The Hobbit” which, admittedly, I never watched. I’m a huge fan of the book and I heard the movie strayed a bit to much. However I figured I’d throw this sword in here in case you enjoyed the movie. I must admit, it is a pretty cool blade!

Movie Swords for Sale- Blade

Okay confession time. I’m a bit of a comic book geek. So every time Hollywood comes out with a new comic book movie I’m usually the first in line. Which helps explain this one. Remember the sword  Blade (Day Walker) used in the movies? Not only does it slice and dice vampires but it even had the cool little spikes that would pop out into your hand if you didn’t hold it right! Of course the replica doesn’t shoot the spikes out, but I’m still holding out hope on the slicing and dicing vampires part! As soon as I meet one I’ll let you know for sure. This movie sword is for sale at Amazon

Movie Swords for Sale- King Leonidas (300)

Here is one for all you Spartans out there, this movie sword for sale is a replica of the sword King Leonidas used in the movie 300. Yep, a replica of the sword used by one of the most bad ass warriors history has ever known (that we have made of movie of). And no, you don’t have to wear a leather loin cloth to play with this one, that is totally optional.

Movie Swords for Sale- Harry Potter

Time for another part of my inner nerd to come out. I was a huge fan of Harry Potter. Read all the books, saw every movie (at least twice), but I’m sad to say I haven’t got this movie sword yet. If you are at all a fan of the Harry Potter series then you should be familiar with the Gryffindor Sword . Yes you too can slay a basilisk, and then use the blood soaked blade to thwart Lord Voldemort from returning to life with this movie sword for sale. Of course, I still can’t do all that because I don’t have one... It’s on my wish list though! Oh and I have to add one more thing, Obviously it’s not a movie sword but I have to point out that you can also get a HARRY POTTER WAND as well!

Well that is my list of movie swords for sale online. Hopefully if you don't see the sword you want here you can find one yourself on Amazon

Medieval Weapons for Sale

If you are looking for real medieval weapons for sale then you have come to the right place. Not only have I found a variety of weapons for sale on amazon and listed them with pictures but I’m also going to explain some of the history of the weapons to go with it! Although this is by no means a complete list of all medieval weapons it is a list of the most popular.

Medieval Weapons for Sale- Swords

1) Medieval Arming Sword

An Arming Sword is a traditional sword used by knights during the 11th-16th centuries. Since it had a lightweight blade that was only around two and a half feet long, it would often be complimented by a shield. The Arming Sword got demoted to a back up weapon when the Long Sword became popular in the 13th century. Around the same time it stopped being called an Arming sword and started going by the name we know if as today, the Short Sword

2) Medieval Long Sword

The Long sword, which became popular in the 13th century, is a long double bladed sword that required two hands to swing. There are several different styles that vary from county to country such as the Zweihänder from Germany or the Claymore from Scotland( for best example see Braveheart!)

Medieval Weapons for Sale-   Ranged Weapons

>

1) English Style Longbow

Obviously th long bow was a very useful weapon during medieval times.  Whether attacking or defending, having the advantage of a weapon that can be used from a great distance can obviously turn the tide of a battle when used properly. Even though the long bow had a range of 180-250 yards it was highly inaccurate from so far away. And letting your archers get to close put them in danger of being overrun by the enemy. Instead the archers would just bombard the enemy with as many arrows as possible to make up the lack of accuracy

2)Cross Bow

Even though the Long bow had superior range and rate of fire cross bows still became a popular ranged weapon for one simple reason, they were easy to use. A full army could be taught how to use a crossbow in a week, but a single archer would need years of strength and accuracy training to be useful in battle.

Medieval Weapons for Sale- War Hammers

Medieval War Hammer

Although there are a variety of types of war hammers I don’t feel the need to list each one separately because the main difference is the size. A war hammer looks very similar to a modern day hammer only the head has a blunt site and a spike instead of the clawed version we see today. The size could vary from that of a sledge hammer to the small tool you use to drive in nails.

That’s my list for now. Hopefully it has helped you on your quest to find your medieval weapons for sale.

Swords for Sale Online

If you are looking for swords for sale online then you have come to the right place. In this article I’m going to arm you with knowledge so that you can properly arm yourself with a sword. Before you run out and buy a sword you should ask yourself why you want one. Are you looking for a sword just as a collection piece to hang on you wall? Maybe you want one to learn how to sword fight? Or maybe you all ready know how to sword fight and you want a real one to use for defense? These factors are going to influence what type of sword you should buy. So let’s look at a few different factors.

Swords for Sale Online- Where to Buy Them?

Okay so you have decided to buy a sword online and you are wondering where you should buy it. Well there are thousands of web sites out there that are more than happy to sell to you. But which one is best? Well my general rule of thumb is when in doubt go with Amazon. After all amazon generally has a great selection of anything you want and they have a great customer service to back it up. But there are other options such as swords.com who might have a better selection. Most of the other sites you might want to be care full of though. Unless you know some one who is willing to vouch for them then you might be ordering a complete piece of junk that looks nothing like the picture.

Swords for Sale Online-What to Look For.

Okay before you click the link over to Amazon to buy yourself a sword first let’s look at which one you actually want. Most people who are looking for swords for sale online generally fall into one of three categories.

1) Wants something cool to hang on the wall.
This is probably the most common person shopping for a sword. They just want something cool and shiny to put over the mantle place. And nothing says cool and bad-ass like a sword! Also in this group you have the dedicated movie fans who just have to have a replica of Aragorns sword in Lord of the Rings. Nothing wrong with that, personally I have the sword from “Blade”
2) Wants to learn how to sword fight.
The second type of person who wants to buy a sword are the ones who want to learn how to sword fight. For these I would recommend buying a practice sword. These are just wooden swords meant specifically for learning how to sword fight. And they’re usually fairly cheap too!
3) Already a bad ass Ninja and wants to have the tools of the trade.
Okay the final type of person who is shopping for swords for sale online are the ones who know how to use a sword and are just looking for the right one. You know who you are and please please don’t hurt me...

Swords for Sale Online- How Much Do They Cost?

So how much do swords cost? Well again that depends on what kind you are looking for. A replica sword can cost as little as $20-$30, of course they can go for much more as well. A practice sword can usually be picked up for only around $20 as well. But a real battle ready sword could cost you any where from fifty to a couple hundred bucks. It all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.
Well I hope this has helped you in your quest of seeking swords for sale online. Good luck!
